American Indian Education Center

Founded in 1971 to serve the educational needs of American Indian children and families, Indian Action Council, provides school based tutoring as well as operating programs and offering a collection of cultural resources at our center in Eureka, California. Our tutoring programs are designed with the goal of improving academic performance and improving self-concept of grades K-12 American Indian students. At our center you will find a computer lab, a library of culturally relevant reading materials as well unique cultural artifacts and resources.
